Farmington, NM - The San Juan College (SJC) Board of Directors unanimously approved a resolution on Tuesday (4/3/07) supporting the payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) that Desert Rock proposes for the College. The PILOT for SJC is part of a larger payment proposal that includes San Juan County and Central Consolidated School District. The payments are proposed to facilitate San Juan County issuing Industrial Revenue Bonds (IRBs) for the Desert Rock Project.
